Secret Garden of Casa Ruffoni

It is called “secret garden” because it is normally closed to tourists and accessible only for those who visit Andrea Ruffoni’s House-Museum, to which it belongs.

It is one of the last orchards/gardens which once characterized this area of the island, as witnessed by the green cadastral parcels that can be seen in the 1723 Theresian Cadastre.
