The Ecomuseum of Fishing involves the whole territory of the Isola Superiore or dei Pescatori, and identifies in particular a network of significant sites, both outdoor and inside historical buildings, which can be connected into a visit itinerary. The Ecomuseum is hosted in the house given to the local community by the musician Ugo Ara, which once housed the Primary School and now the small Fishing Museum set up by the local Pro Loco, and that, after being restored, will also host the Ecomuseum Documentation Centre.

Other points of interest for the Ecomuseum are the historical Casa Zanetti, seat of the local Pro Loco, the church of San Vittore, of Romanesque origins, the characteristic cemetery, the House-Museum Andrea Ruffoni, the ancient dock, the harbor, the boiler for dyeing fishing nets, the “tail” with its belvedere, the cliffs with cup marks, the breakwater “sassere”, old houses with peculiar architectural elements and Via Ugo Ara, the central spine of the settlement.
